Sometimes she sits and wait, I won't be there. Another late night, by herself she sit and waits. Working away, he sweats his life goodbye. 12 hours go by, morning to night. He says goodbye, he says hello. This life, they wish was more. I won't be the one to say it but it will be alright.

The time has come for me to say goodbye to an old friend. Nine years you have been there for me in my time of need. But please don't be sad, you would have been the death of me. Comfort and betrayal, you were the best and the worse. I can breathe without you and yet I still want you. Cutting ties, sometimes its the hardest to do. For better I will leave you to kill another. And for worse I will suffer my withdraw from you.

The wind brings me the problems of the world, keep me enslaved for humanity, I can't mend a broken heart, replace a shattered soul, lead to the path of destruction and self sacrifice, I was sent here to test your patience and we failed. Forgiveness lies with in the lies, The silence is spoken with quick flips of the tongue.

We create the fears under our beds at night. Dream the dreams for which we fail. A sunny day but stormy and cloudy inside. Drive our own nails in our coffin. Yet we keep going, day after day. Sad or maybe happy when we wake we will know.

From time to time these thoughts of mine tend to betray. Locking in shadows of you, painting stick figures on my wall. Calling out my own name I get lost in the dark, trying to find my way I always end back with you. Not from the start like most but to a new life no one has yet to discover.

Sometimes I sit and remember all the times we had together. They were never really the best of times nor were they the worst of times. The walks through the deep rivers ravine, the late nights shared. These are the times I miss. It's to bad the day never came for us to be, we never shared that one special moment, We were never meant to be together like the fall and winter. Your love for me was real like the leaves on the ground but I became winter and covered your love with snow. Maybe one day it will melt and we will survive this but until then I live with our memories and remember them everyday. Those were the

He says he is a good guy. We know who, we know what, he really is. Somethings are best left unsaid, left blank. Broken promises scattered all along the floor. Lies kept on his bookshelf for all the view. He says he's sorry, Bad lie, we know not, we know never, never ending with no end.

To the broken heart once healed I will take and break. Ashes glide down from the heavens, the angels have lost their wings. Rivers flow from her eyes as I disappear into the mist. Slowly fading away from reality I hide and beg for the forgiveness I never deserve. So I reside my solitude deep beneath the guilt she gave me.

Sometimes I can't decide which way to go. You keep pulling me back, grabbing my hand, never letting it go. I thought I had set you free to be  who you were always meant to be. My thoughts had played a trick on me, foolish heart, why won't you mend?
